The Buckeye Tree Lodge is set along the banks of the Kaweah River, with all eleven rooms facing the river, the views and sounds of the river from each room, patio and balcony are simply spectacular. The beautiful grounds include a large grassy lawn and picnic area overlooking the river with huge native sycamore trees to provide shade during warm summer afternoons.

All rooms also feature comfortable beds, cable television, a microwave oven, and mini refrigerator. The clean rooms have ceiling fans, windows that you can open, as well as air conditioning and heat. One of the rooms features a two burner stove and toaster, a kitchen sink, as well as dishes, silverware and pots and pans to make your own meals. The nicest restaurant in town is located right next door so you don’t have to cook if you don’t want to.
 
A light breakfast basket is included daily for all guests and usually includes fresh fruit, a pastry or home baked muffin, and juices. Fresh French roast coffee beans are provided, along with a grinder so that you may make yourself a proper cup of fresh coffee in your coffee maker. Several BBQ’s, picnic tables, benches, and chairs are located throughout the property so you can cook or just relax and listen to the river roll by.
 
Free unlimited local and nationwide telephone service and free high speed wireless internet are provided. A computer with internet access for guest use at no charge.

All of the rooms feature unique and individual photographs taken in and around Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Most of the photographs are from the backcountry, as the owner has hiked and backpacked extensively through the parks (and is happy to help you maximize your experience in the Parks). If you just want to relax in your room, you are also welcome to choose from a library of books, magazines and over 400 videos.

Elsah Cort invites you to enjoy a peaceful sojourn in Salt Creek Canyon. The private guest cottage, fits snugly into a hillside and herb garden and was built in 1986 as a home for Elsah's grandma with a panoramic view of mountain, meadow and sky. Cort Cottage is found at the end of a rural road, adjacent to the Case Mountain public land area of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), where hiking, mountain biking and exploring is welcomed.

The cottage offers a queen-size bed, a full-size futon sofa in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bath with a step-down tile tub, satellite TV, CD/DVD player, an outdoor deck with a shade umbrella, and a carefully selected library of books and games. Wireless internet service is offered. Breakfast includes homemade muffins, assorted breads and cold cereal or granola, fresh fruit, juice, milk and eggs (for the guests to prepare, if desired). Freshly ground coffee and herbal teas are offered in the fully equipped cottage kitchen.

During the winter months, you can enjoy the secluded outdoor hot tub located directly under the Milky Way. The hot tub is not available during the summer months. Your host works at home, creating collages and poetry in her art studio. She is a retired RN and practices craniosacral work and feng shui consulting. Relaxing integrative bodywork sessions are available for guests; ask about session appointments for you during your stay when you make your reservation or when you arrive. She teaches nursing burnout retreats which are open to anyone with job burnout.

VISA, MC, or Discover cards are accepted. One half of total reservation is required as a deposit. Deposit is not refundable for cancellation but can be extended for future stay, if cancellation is made one week prior to reservation. No smoking allowed inside the cottage. No pets accepted. There is a two night minimum stay, with a three night minimum stay on holiday weekends, and four night minimum for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The cottage offers a special weekly rate (single occupancy) for writer's, artist's, or personal retreats. 4.4 miles from the Ash Mountain main Sequoia National Park entrance.

Larry and Diana Jules offer spacious private suites overlooking the main fork of the Kaweah River. This is a glorious spot with the roar of the river as background music for your stay.  They strive to make your stay a relaxing, secluded, elegant experience. The river is magnificent at The River Jewel and offers great swimming in the summer. 

The beautiful, newly appointed suites include fresh fruit, organic toiletries, luxurious California king bedding, a large sitting area, Wi-Fi, television, AC, and kitchenette. The suites are stocked with literature about Sequoia National Park, games, and  a library of book and magazines about the area. Each of the two suites has a private patio with bbq. The Sequoia Village Inn consists of ten private chalet, cottage and cabin accommodations tucked into 1.3 acres of native oak trees, grasses and wildflowers that border Sequoia National Park. The comfortable accommodations sleep from 2 to 12 people and range from small studios to spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath units with full kitchens and living rooms with big screen LCD HDTV’s. All of the Sequoia Village Inn rooms are unique and tastefully decorated with local art and original photographs of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Several of the rooms have beautiful inlaid stone mosaics created by the owner’s artist wife.
 
The Sequoia Village Inn has a swimming pool. All cottages, cabins and chalets have air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee beans and a grinder, satellite TV with VCR. Eight of the chalets and cottages have full kitchens stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and many other kitchenware. Leah Catherine Launey and Peter Sodhy offer two rooms in their lovely Mediterranean style home located on the Main Fork of the Kaweah River. Each bedroom has a high ceiling, tiled floor, queen-sized bed, satellite TV/VCR, telephone, high-speed Internet, ceiling fan, wood-burning fireplace, A/C, heat, private verandah, private river view, private river access, private bathroom with tub/shower. Air mattresses or cots are available for 2 additional guests per room.

Common areas include heated outdoor swimming pool, and small hot tub in the courtyard facing the river. Laundry room, business fax available. Other amenities include pool table, foos ball, ping pong, table games, books, videos, and music. Swim "toys" include a poolside basketball goal, poolside volleyball net, small sandbox for children, and a small above-ground baby pool.

In the wintertime, breakfast is served in the common room, accented by candlelight and firelight from the large wood-burning fireplace. In the spring, summer, and fall, breakfast may be served in the courtyard outside, as a lovely alternative. Breakfast favorites include quiche, blackberry cobbler, baked Granny Smith apple, pancakes with hot fruit compote on top, spiced apple yogurt, spiced persimmon yogurt, seasonal fresh fruit, and spiced apple cider. Coffee, tea, cider (in season) and hot cocoa available all day, if requested.
