Elsah Cort invites you to enjoy a peaceful sojourn in Salt Creek Canyon. The private guest cottage, fits snugly into a hillside and herb garden with a panoramic view of mountain, meadow and sky. Cort Cottage is found at the end of a rural road, adjacent to the Case Mountain Recreation Area of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), where hiking, mountain biking and exploring is welcomed.
The cottage sleeps four persons and offers a queen-size bed, a full-size futon sofa in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bath with a step-down tile tub, a TV with DVD player, an outdoor deck with shade umbrella, and a carefully selected library of books and games. WiFi satellite internet service is provided. Breakfast food is minimal, with cold cereal and oatmeal, freshly ground French roast coffee, both regular and decaf, sugar and half and half, along with an assortment of herbal teas and English teas. Links to local grocery store with maps are provided with reservation confirmation.
Your host works at home as an artist, creating collage and mixed media artwork. Guests are invited to visit her art studio with an appointment. She is a retired RN who practices craniosacral therapy and feng shui consulting. She volunteers for the local California Native Plant Society chapter and is a member of the Redbud Garden Club.
AmEx, VISA, MC or Discover cards are accepted. One half of total reservation is required as a deposit. Deposit is not refundable for cancellation but will be extended as credit for a future stay, if cancellation is made two weeks prior to reservation. No smoking allowed inside the cottage. No pets accepted. There is a two night minimum stay, with a three night minimum stay on holiday weekends, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Located 4 miles from the main entrance to Sequoia National Park.
